Amelia’s formal training began with the study of Architecture [University of Cambridge, 2014-17], during which she developed a profound interest in design at the intersection of architecture, interiors, furniture and objects. Subsequently working as a set designer then editorial copywriter within fashion and the luxury sector, in the Spring of 2021 she established an independent practice that encompasses the design and production of bespoke objects and furniture pieces. Defined by an understated visual language, essential material palette and subtle wit, her works are titled with tongue-in-cheek 20th-century literary references that speak of her deep appreciation for diverse academic, artistic and cultural disciplines.
